What a week or so will do...

Wow, it's been a while. I apologize...

Tour was incredible...however, there are no words that can adequately describe how well the TMEA performance went and how good it felt to walk off that stage knowing I was just a part of something extraordinary. (For more information, contact me...man, I've been writing too many news releases lately.)

I managed to spend a pretty penny at the Rivercenter Mall as well. Hey, I was in San Anontio on the Riverwalk and had money...need I say more. And, for those of you who will appreciate this: I bought a purple moose...it was so exciting! (Teej, you'll have to get yourself one...seriously) Anyway, I (and the rest of the ACU Wind Ensemble) was pretty much spoiled the whole week of tour by anyone and everyone...namely ACU alumni. Not to mention, the food allowance that was more than enough for the three meals we had to pay for and we ate free, hot and yummy (buffet-style) breakfasts at the hotel. And, the amazing compliments that have been pouring in from every direction about our TMEA performance are astounding. It's amazing what will happen when you let God in and allow Him to take control.

But then it was back to reality: Sing Song, catching up on sleep and classes and just life in general decided to hit me between the eyes...especially this morning. BUT, that really didn't settle in until after having a fantastic Valentine's Day. Nathan and I went out on Saturday night (after we both frantically shopped Saturday afternoon for each other...). And, Monday we went to class, chapel, lunch, class again...then, I made him dinner at home (Easy Mac, yes!), had some cheesecake and did some homework...I wouldn't have had it any other way. (honestly...okay, maybe without the homework.) So, thanks again, Nate, for an awesome day! Love you :)

So, I've just had to remind myself this morning of the unsurpassable greatness of the Lord, the One who truly does esceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine (TMEA is proof). And, the firm foundation of the word of God speaks truth and life into this soul that's yearning for a fresh breath of life, a new sight of truth, peace, hope and faith in knowing that God is in control. I've found that speaking the word...the living word of God...is powerful because it is true. There is no denying...and, in Him will I put my trust.

"
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15

"If the LORD delights in a man's way,
he makes his steps firm;
though he stumble, he will not fall,
for the LORD upholds him with his hand." - Psalm 37:23-24

Be blessed today in all you do,
Jezz

Lloyd...congrats to having snazzy clothes for Sunday!
